SSI Busan Elementary follows a standards-based curriculum aligned with the Common Core State Standards.

All subjects—English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and SEL—are intentionally connected,
so students learn ideas in a meaningful and coherent way rather than as separate classes.

SSI Busan is not a place to “learn English.”
English is simply the shared language used for learning,
while the focus remains on understanding concepts, thinking critically,
and clearly explaining ideas.

This approach builds a strong academic foundation
that supports students across different school systems and future pathways.
